William Jerry White, 60, passed away March 28, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Bill was born September 4, 1948; he is the son of Elmer (deceased) and Nancy White. Bill graduated from Highland High School, where he was a proud member of the football and track teams, and from the University of New Mexico where he attended on a football scholarship. While attending the University, he was president of Sigma Chi fraternity for two years. Bill is the father of Jaaron White, from Hawaii, and Jada White who is working on her masters degree at the University of Florida. In addition to his children, Bill is survived by his mother, Nancy; brothers, David, and Jim and his wife Barbara. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Bills honor to a charity of your choice.
